About me: Radial Uproar are a five piece rock covers band from the midlands. Originally formed in early 2005, they were a three piece band with Keith Dudley on drums, Ste Dudley on guitar and Spike Corbett on Bass, they played small pub gigs around Long Eaton. With them sharing vocals they decided it was time to look for a lead vocalist to ease the pressure and let them each concentrate on there instruments fully, a phone call from Spike to Dave C the day after Dave advertised his services on the web, had them practicing hard for there first gig together as a four piece a month later. Feeling the need to beef up their sound further they recruited Ed Bailey, which added a new dimension. Suddenly gigging seemed to come thick and fast the following year, even organizing there own charity event, which was a huge success.
Ste has left the band to concentrate on his unsigned band T.M.H. This made an opening for the new axeman,
Tom, which is great news as he has slotted in like he always belong with us.
At the end of summer 2008, Keith retiered. He will be greatly missed as not only was he a founder member, but he was also a key member of the band in terms of solidarity, vocals and unity. Not only did this mean Radial uproar had to find a good drummer, they needed to find one that could sing and become a dominant member of the band. The band had made their choice, but just needed to get the drummer to agree, as he is already in to unsigned bands! Fortunately, like most drummers, he is a sucker for rock n roll and didn't take much to get him to join! After four practices with the new drummer, the band debuted Styx to a great turn out and receival.
2009 will see Radial Uproar hitting pubs, bars, festivals and rallies with a new set of rocking tracks to get you jumoing and chanting along!!!
