I love so many things-- singing [musicals are crazy fun!], dancing [fell in love with it in college; it's a joy!],
writing (fiction or poetry--which is just fiction for people with ADD),
drawing/painting/art [Gustave Caillebotte, Jack Vettriano, and Bill Brauer] , reading, and watching movies. Sports--football and hockey (favorites), and then soccer. And driving! Give me that sport anyday--more the challenge, more the fun. ;)
Music
Music is everything--from the instrumental (Debussy and Ravel) to harder rock. Alice Smith, Red Hot Chili Peppers (Stadium Arcadium is amazing!) Bond, Bitter:Sweet, Sia (used to be one of the leads for Zero 7, another great group), 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall Out Boy, Muse, Fiona Apple, Stereophonics, Aqualung. Soundtracks are a wonderful way to find new artists--D.E.B.S., Before Sunrise/Sunset, Eurotrip, Wicker Park, Garden State. Musicals: Les Mis, Miss Saigon, Scarlet Pimpernel, Into the Woods (anything Sondheim really), etc, etc, etc.
Movies
Never ask me what my favorite movie is--Love the classics (I mean 1930s and on classics) :), into the modern ones. Pride and Prejudice, Last of the Mohicans, Mr and Mrs Smith, Braveheart, Deja Vu (twice over), Outsider, The Village, Boondock Saints, Kingdom of Heaven, Secretary, Stranger Than Fiction, The Invisible, 300, Charade, To Sir With Love, Joyeux Noel, Stardust, Amelie, Mostly Martha, etc. This could be an endless conversation...if you can hold up your end. :)
Television
Mainly The Closer and CSI: Las Vegas.
And the dancer that I am...So You Think You Can Dance. Ok, sue me.
Books
I read voraciously. (In 9th grade, my mom made me cross stitch in between each book I read just so that my family could see me outside my room; I hate cross stitching.) Love Neil Gaiman (a writer w/o bounds), Cecelia Ahern, Linda Howard, Jennifer Cruisie (quirky!), Jacqueline Winspear, Lauren Willig, Dean Koontz, Maria V. Snyder. Whatever appeals...I take recommendations too. :)
Heroes
I'd have to say my mom--she is one of the strongest, wisest, and most honest people that I know. I love that.
About me: I am a Christian woman who was raised by two very original, strong charactered people... strong characters, think for ourselves... do not be swayed...creativity: history, writing, song and dance, enamored in a search for a 4-leaf clover. I am finally learning the awesome ability of being goofy, without the immaturity. ;) Support: I'm a very loyal friend; I expect the same from my friends as well, as it should be.

Heyyyy! Sorry I missed you today! I hope you are having a nice weekend! I've been super busy! So much to do, it's crazy! Going to work early tomorrow before church...then picking up some baby stuff, hoping ot get a nap in, and then the game. THEN last minute cleaning and hopefully destressing and resting! Hey you!! How are things going up north? It's crazy hot down here!! Glad to hear that you are starting to enjoy the summer; as soon as I get some beach time I'll start enjoying it too. So looks like some good movies are coming out; I miss our Friday matinees!!
doing fine, a little overworked since I took over as company commander and XO this week...but God is good and He's humbling me a bit. I love being in Texas b/c my family is so close. Glad to hear that Augusta could work out some nice weather for your birfday :)
