Hello, I'm Rael. I'm a composer and musician, both for fun and as a job. My website is at www.raeljones.com, and is probably much more up to date than this.
The music on this Myspace page is largely random. Pieces I've done in studios as a solo artist, playing all the instruments in a trying-to-be-Mike-Oldfield-and-Jon-Brion kind of way. Bits of things I've made at home using household objects, or new quirky instruments and guitar pedals that I JUST CAN'T STOP BUYING. That kind of thing.
I play guitar in a "Quasi Prog Rock" band called Thumpermonkey. Here are links to our Myspace and Website. Our new album is being released through Genin Records Xmas 2009.
Some Old Stuff
I was the lead singer / guitarist in a power-prog-pop 3 piece called Happy Eggs.
I have been known to do remixes, and sometimes produce more electronic / filthy sonic offerings.
My remix / re-record of "We Are the Glamourous" by Electro act "Sma5h TV" is on their myspace here.
I did a similar thing to a track called "Wheezyboy", originally by an early incarnation of Thumpermonkey, long before I joined the line up more recently. You can hear that on our site

I also did some collaborative writing / experimentation with lead singer Michael Woodman, calling the resulting output Shinju, which also has its own legacy myspace here.

Ok, so I was shopping at macy's with my mom the other day, and the guy at the counter told me to go to this website when I got home cause they are giving out a bunch of free $500 gift cards! it works, i just got mine in the mail today!! check it out its such a sweet deal, but he said there are not that many left! let's all go shopping next week with our free $500 macy's cards haha!!
