A frank, endearing memoir of two star struck lovers who travel the world and Jim Crow America, a black-white couple coping with the realities of daily life and mental challenges for ten years in Rio and other places during the dynamic sixties.
Also, see my father on stage with the great John Lennon (with the sunglasses on) circa 1971.
=====================================
Glory be to the Supreme Lord! In general I am a one man band. I play bass, guitar, piano, drums, engineer, compose, sing, rap, arrange and produce most of my songs completely.
It's a bit difficult to play all at the same time when I'm performing live, but I'm working on it. lol j/k
There are a few exceptions. If you want more details send me a message and include the song name.
I could do none of this without the support of the entire BlacKnight/Ground Cipher Family including (in no particular order):
xSes, Bambu, Tishka, B-Ries, Big Khan, Smash One, Squeaky Leo, Jahnish, Levi, ABN, DJ Kool Large, to name a few...

ALL GLORIES TO THE SUPREME LORD AND HIS DIVINE AGENTS
''Rarely do we find an Artist that Satisfies Our Appetite for Magnificent Music. Stimulating the Soul and Expanding the Boundaries of Artistry and Free Speech.''
Hasid's musical life begins with the rich influence of his native islands, the Reggae and Calypso of Trinidad and the Salsa and Merengue of Puerto Rico, is highly influenced by Classical composition, activated by the eclectic Jazz and Rock of the 60's and currently manifests itself thru the medium comonly known as Hip-Hop.
Hasid began playing bass and guitar in 1986 at the tender age of 11, composing songs and performing with his first garage band. At 13 he began studying engineering and production under Grammy Award winning Engineer and producer Mark Pinske and by the age of 16, Hasid had joined with his friend River Phoenix to co-produce, co-write and play bass on Rivers yet to be released album NeverOddOrEven. After Phoenixs untimely death, the album was sucked into a vacuum of legal issues and has yet to be released. The loss of his comrade along with the media mania that followed it fueled the young Hasid and propelled him along his musical journey.
In 1996 Hasid moved to the island of Hawaii and had the life-changing experience of meeting His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj. Days later he was initiated into the ancient order of Gaudiya Vaisnavism in the line of Sri Rupa and given the name Shambhunath Das. Hasids life work was clearly activated and defined when his musical efforts were blessed by his Divine Master.
Working day and night for several years, Mr. RA planted himself in front of his soundboards and instruments, mastering the finer points of music production and lyricism while incubating his signature sound. In 1997, Hasid moved to Miami, Florida and co-founded the production company named BlacKnight Music Corporation, spending the next five years producing and developing the talent of several Miami based Hip-Hop, R&B and Neo-Soul artists.
In the Year 2000, Hasid formally established the RA Empire, independently developing, performing and producing his unique brand of Hardcore Hip-Hop Soul. Weaving words and sounds into musical paintings, he expresses a keen insight into the human condition, while simultaneously bumping the cars, rocking the clubs, and sparking the imagination of music lovers world-wide.
Ladies love Hasid's raspy-tinged voice for its raw confidence, while men recognize and respect his love for the struggle and his fearless lyrics, making Hasid RA one of todays most enigmatic, magnetic and controversial artists.
