Tuesday is Apple Sauce Day (11) working on some stuff, trying to book shows, have a killer weekend everyone. BE SAFE! Posted at 6:50 PM Sep 4 view more
I was created since my 'mother' and 'father' decided to have me. I am a reading, movie watching music geek who likes odd subjects and odd people to respect. I try (TRY) to be amusing. I tend to dislike authority and am a dork. I see no problem with that though. I tend to read books that inform me on stuff that pisses me off. I know I can be a downer, but I like knowing my shit. I'm crass but I'm also shy.
Kiss my ass in Irish gaelic
so there ya go. (if you beleive any of that crap.
I also am cool with anyone really, though I must confess if your really conservative in your views we might have to ignore a couple topics...
Also I am aware that myspace is like decorating a locker back in middle school, but it helps me bug some buds and learn html a bit. lol.
Aww, the memories.
Who I'd like to meet:
whoever really. I figured your somewhat interested at this point if your actually reading this. Any random people as well, because meeting new people, no matter how weird is a good thing.
Odd Art I tend to like
I love this promo for Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia and after Arrested Development its my favorite recent TV show.
I just wanted to stop by and wish you a happy Friday! May the weekend bring you fun adventures, relaxation, and total contentment :)
I was going to go camping this weekend, but this is definitely NOT camping weather. So me and some friends are gonna go check out Dueling Pianos. Those guys are amazing - they can play just about any song that's been on the radio between 1950 and 2005.
Anyways, I wanted to let you know about a show we have @ Station 4 on Friday, October 16th. We are debuting a series of one time only performance art pieces. This one is called "AN OBJECT TO CRAVE". Live music and visuals based on a short story about life, love, loss, fantasy, obsession and death.
Another group of mine, The Magnetrons, which plays an exciting and innovative Livetronica set (i.e. STS9, Disco Biscuits, The Histronic) will also be playing. The night will be full of creative, interesting, high-energy music, good drinks and good times.
Here's the info:
Blood Root Mother - "An Object to Crave" w/ The Magnetrons & Thought Thieves Friday, October 16th Station 4 201 E 4th St St Paul, MN 55101 9pm / $5 / 18+
Hey Tuesday is Apple Sauce Day (11), Check us out and Demand us please. It would really mean a lot to us. It only takes a couple moments to do. Comment us back, lets chat? Thanks and God bless!
Since we're in your area on Saturday we thought we'd give ya a friendly "heads-up".
The Mason Dixons New, Classic & Outlaw Country Saturday, Sept 19 Two Stooges Fridley, MN 9:30pm-1:30am
Come join the party. We play New, Classic and Outlaw Country from bands like Hank, Jr., Dierks Bentley, Jamey Johnson, Zac Brown, Jason Aldean, Cross Canadian Ragweed, David Allen Coe and much much more.
I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a tune called Run Bobby Run:
If you have a chance at any point, please check out our new demo of a redone, older song from the EP, "Alone-(demo)". This is our first experiment amongst the new recording equiptment that we are now working with in the studio. We will continue to improve with production, as the new material for the album have been routinely rehearsed and still in the process of being prepared.
Check out our new blog too if you get the chance, giving you some more info on what's to come!
