LOL. I saw that I had a comment approval when I logged on, and I just knew it was you....I thought, "that's right, today IS the 23rd."
I believe that I am fully recovered from the WB at this point. And I only used 1 sick day in the recovery process. Not bad. (I was actually sick. I think it was my body's way of forcing me to get some rest). Doin just peachy now. Though I could go for a lil of that "peaceful" stuff you mentioned. HUGS!
LOL... thanks! It feels like it's been longer. I can't STAND cigs anymore, even walking through smoke drives me nuts. It's like the most detestable smell in the universe to me now. How the heck did I inhale that shit for 10 years?!
Welllllll... we actually are putting some of it toward some minor current-home rennovations, so we've dipped below the halfway mark right now, which is why I haven't been updating. But it's still an investment to make more money for a future house, so we thought that would be OK. :)
It's easy for me to save money because I'm used to not having much of it anyway. :) I'm rather terrified of spending, but once in a while I will go nuts and buy a 12-pack of socks or a box of rice. XD
I guess if I had any advice on saving effectively is: set up an automatic deduction (weekly) to go into several savings funds, and you won't expect it to be there for you to touch. It's out of sight, out of mind - and after a while you won't even miss it. If I get a salary raise, I take the extra percent and sock it away as if I never got a raise... that money is just going right to the savings and I never have the time to smell it or get to know it. Until later, when I say WOW, LOOK AT ALL OF MY SAVINGS!!!! (^__^)
