Known to concert-goers and record buying audiences worldwide as a preeminent musician, Rafael Moreira is an intuitive musician and relentless performer, whose instincts and passions are balanced by his versatility and technical dexterity. Among his many accomplishments, Rafael was the featured lead guitarist / vocalist on the hit CBS television shows Rock Star INXS and Supernova, and most recently on MTV'S Rock the Cradle. He has also appeared as lead guitarist / supporting vocalist live on world tours and television, as well as on CD & DVD releases, with world renowned and groundbreaking artists such as Paul Stanley (KISS), Don Felder (The Eagles), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction), Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Pink, Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony and Utada to name a few.

Examples of Rafael's televised / feature appearances include American Idol (for "Rock Week" 2009), The American Music Awards, both the U.S. and European MTV Video Music Awards, the MTV/VH-1 Fashion Awards, BBC Top of the Pops, BBC Live Sessions, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The David Letterman Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Good Morning America, Live with Regis and Kelly, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and a number of other major shows throughout Europe, Asia and Australia.

Rafael’s musical upbringing in Brazil began at the age of 6 by assimilating rock records by legends such as The Rolling Stones and KISS. He formed a rock band with his two brothers, and by the age of 8 was playing clubs and outdoor shows at State Fairs, honing his performance skills in front of audiences of 10,000+. Rafael began expanding his own strain of musical definition over the years by studying the nuances of jazz, merging it with Brazilian music, layering in his love for the great blues and rock guitarists, and incorporating all of this knowledge into his own style. His powerful lead vocals and nuanced harmonies blend perfectly with his mastery of both electric and acoustic guitars.

Joining Rafael on Magnetico's debut release "Songs About The World" are Corey McCormick on Bass and Backing Vocals and Joey K. on Drums and Backing Vocals. Bass Player, Arranger, Singer-Songwriter Corey McCormick has been performing with legendary singer Chris Cornell, Vertical Horizon and The Big Pill. Drummer, Singer-Songwriter and Producer Joey K. has performed with Pink, Ozomatli, and The Big Pill.

Since its inception, Magnetico has hoped to be more than just a band, a sound, or a song. The power to attract in physics is known as being magnetic or having a magnetic quality. It would not take a great leap to see that music has a similar effect on people. The idea that music is the soundtrack of our lives is further testimony to this notion.
