Still very young at the age of seven he win the first price of the national painting competition: “How see the child a doctor”.
At fifteen hi initiates his artist carrier with private lessons, afterwards he studies at the plastic art school of the University of Guadalajara and the Fine Arts Academy of Anvers Belgium.
His first “Vernissage” was created in a Zoersel Castell, Anvers Belgium on 1986. Provoking great admiration to the public and the record of more than sixteen thousand visitors in two months!...All the paintings were sold, and till now are in permanent exhibition there.
He travels all Europe, studying and teaching art techniques.
He returns to México transformed into a young great teacher who easily communicates sensibility and strength talent as a gift to the eyes and soul of the spectator.
Rafael Ramirez is one of the most talented contemporary artists. Versatile as a painter, sculptor, dancer, singer, writer, and tv conducer.
As a sculptor his biggest collaboration at the creations “Symbol of the city” and “Foundation of Guadalajara” from 1980 to 1985.
Creator of the city cultural program “ My city and the Art” , special collaborator of the fine arts magazine “Expression Artis”

Conducer of a tv program “Express ArT” and illustrator of a books “El puas” , “The last Juglar” “The other side of the moon” , “La Novia de Mexico” Reader Digest.

30 Collectives whit the great masters: Tamayo,Raul Anguiano, Juan Soriano, Jose Luis Cuevas and other Mexican Contemporary painters in the World Trade Center of Mexico City , also in the Institute Cultural Cabañas in Guadalajara Mexico whit local artists.
As a scenariest had his art works at the Fine Art Palace of Mexico city and Degollado Teathre of Guadalajara, Mexico.
