Born in 1977, Raffayellow started his musical career at the age of 15, DJing at the rave parties in his hometown, Rome. He played hard-tek for almost 10 years, forging his skill as a DJ.
Some years later he began experimenting with music production, using the legendary Fast Tracker and Impulse Tracker software, and setting up a live act with his Yamaha RM-1X and various Korg Electribes.
After moving to Barcelona in 2002, Raffayellow got closer to the minimal and electro-techno sounds, slowing down the BPMs but maintaining the same energy and taste for melodic patterns. Since 2007 he took a new, more professional approach to music production and began to release his own tracks.
He is currently releasing for several labels such as Beat to Beat Records, Stereofly Records and BDivision records.
