...... .. Rage Ranger is the product of years of musical experimentation. Using whatever equipment they could get their hands on, D. Jones and Maroc Aztecmaster began forming the musical style and framework for songs they play today. They have experimented with various sounds, software, and line-ups. Adding Migi-T on guitar to the formerly all electronic lineup brings attention from fans that are atypical of electronic music. Further experimentation with blending live and synthesized instruments led to the addition of live drums, creating an enticing mix of live and synthesized beats. Rage Ranger also collaborates with local singers from other Austin bands at their live performances with much success. They continue to work with Bill Davis (of Underwood fame), a local singer/songwriter who brings a distinctly Austin flavor to the vocals, and with Callie Shelton (of Alexander's Dark Band and various other local projects). Rage Ranger has played with a variety of bands, fitting into lineups that include DJ's, Rock, Goth/Industrial, Experimental, and Punk bands and have played venues such as Stubb's BBQ, Emo’s Lounge, Club Deville, Beauty Bar, Beerland, Elysium, The Light Bar, The Scoot Inn, Red 7, The Orchid, Plush, Cavern Club (Dallas), and Limelight (San Antonio). Rage Ranger continues to experiment with their sound and push the limits of what is considered electronic music. Adding elements from several other genres, they look forward to expanding their music catalog . Rage Ranger is currently available for bookings, and looking for a label and representation.
