La Raggaravane est née de la Culture Dj & Sound System.
En 2009 Selekta NereOne décide de transformer une caravane "Goliath" datant de plus de 45 ans en un Sound System mobile afin de diffuser au travers de ses mix le message conscient de la musique Reggae.
La magie fait effet: la Raggaravane, un hommage à Zion et aux Fondations est née sur un terrain vague de Bruxelles...
La "Nuit Blanche 2009" organisée par la ville de Bruxelles fût le tremplin, s'en suivent 3 éditions aux prestigieux festivals de "Couleur Café" et "Dour Festival" ainsi que de nombreuses dates à travers le pays et au delà des frontières (LaSemo / Bookstock Beach Event 2010, 2011, 2012 / Afro Caribbean Festival 2012, 2013 / La Nuit du Reggae / Bucozic Festival / ReggaeBox / Reggae DownTown, Tournai / live mix on Radio Panik for Reservoir Dub Radio Show / 50Nere / Ric's Art Boat / Péniche Fulmar / KultuurKaffee / Recyclart / Magasin 4 (warm-up Mad Professor) / Bateau Ivre, Mons / MJ Ciney / MJ Braine / Péruwelz plage / Kilimanjaro Dunkerque / Le Djoloff Lille / Izzy Maze, Antwerp / Present Your Sound, Gent / Pili-Pili, Jette / Bastogne / Brussels, etc........etc.............
La Raggaravane est 100% autonome, assure un Sound festif et original, animé d'une vibration positive.
Tout les mix sont réalisés à l'ancienne; uniquement aux vinyles, une sélection de dubplates et rares tunes dans un style Deep-Roots Reggae, NuRoots, Dancehall digital, accompagnés d'effets et de scratches.
La Bassline, le message positif et conscient du Reggae et de Rastafari sont les files conducteurs de la sélection.
La Raggaravane se produit en général à l'extérieur lors de Festivals, Free-Party, Manifs, etc et organise aussi différents évènements indoor durant l'hiver

The Raggaravane project takes its roots in the Dj & Sound System culture.
In 2009 Selekta NereOne decides to turn a "Goliath" caravan older than 45 years into a mobile Sound System with the objective of spreading the message of conscious Reggae music through original mixes.
Magic operates: the "Raggaravane", a tribute to Zion and the Foundation was born on a yard in Brussels...
The "Nuit Blanche 2009" organized by the city of Brussels was the springboard,
then the Raggaravane took part in three consecutive editions of some of some of the biggest Belgian festivals as "Couleur Café" and "Dour"
and also numerous events across the country and in Europe.
The Raggaravane Sound System is 100% independent, provides a lively and original sound, inspired by a positive vibration.
All mixes are strictly originate from vinyls records: the fine selection of rare tracks and dubplates in a Deep Roots Reggae, NuRoots and digital Dancehall stylee is mixed with scratches and effects.
The Bassline and the conscious message of Reggae and Rastafari are the drivers of the selection.
In May 2011 NereOne crosses the path with the famous brand "Stanton" who decided to hit the road with the Raggaravane while providing crucial technical and logistic support.
The Raggaravane typically perform outdoor at festivals, Free-Party, demonstrations, etc..
It also organizes various indoor events in the winter time. (first venue in Belgium of Wayne « Sleng Teng » Smith, Baby G,..)
It still hard to translate the vibrations that you can feel in a Raggaravane bash, it's better to be there to see it in real, listen the mixes en feel Irie !
