Influences
India is a land where centuries and millennia have lived. Here is where FOREVER lives. It is this feeling of eternity in the Indian Folk music that is my inspiration. Sounds that speak from the home they live in, sounds that play in the courtyards and reflect off the mud walls. This is my inspiration and my music is a celebration of this inspiration.

Raghu’s music is a seamless amalgamation of Indian ethnic music and sounds from around the world befittingly labeling his music as Indo World Folk Rock. His lyrics though intense, are simple and speak about every common man’s emotions and experiences, therefore, making his songs extremely popular among his fans. Inserting Indian ethnic folk, sufi and classical phrases cleverly into his songs, Raghu’s singing style can be described as unique. His songs Mysore se aayi, Mumbai, Antaragni, Hey Bhagwan, Har Saans mein, Gudugudiya, Sorutihudu and many more are very popular among his fans.

After 62 years of Independence, 10 years since Kargil, and after decades of ‘Democracy’, here we are plagued by terror, hate and disease on one hand, and Standing Tall and Shining on the other. Is our Independence total? On the glorious occasion of our 62nd Independence Day, JOSHISH releases their 2nd single “Still Not Too Late”. The song has been already released under W.A.T.T.S. (We Against The Terrible System) a project by Sameer Rahat(JOSHISH) featuring Shobhita Singh(Lead Vocals/Lyrics). W.A.T.T.S. aims at spreading awareness through their music and also taking a stand against issues that affect our society and affects us as an individual. This song is dedicated to mark the heroic act of the soldiers who led down their lives fighting for Kargil and to give a message to the Nation to join hands and fight back coz its “Still Not Too Late”.
