Tim Rose is a freelance guitarist (and sometime bass player!) His work has taken him round the world playing for stars of the 60's such as Gerry Marsden, Brian Poole, Dave Berry, Wayne Fontana to name a few. He as also played rocking gigs with US crooner Al Martino, Matt Monro jnr and... Roger Whittaker!
More recently he has been seen lurking in the pits of the west end playing in "Footloose" and "Evita". Along with these gigs Tim has been playing bass for Toyah Willcox for the last 18 months.
The Hormones allow him to dredge up the stuff he learned at college and play a few of his own tunes.
Steve Richardson is a seasoned pro with over 35 years experience. In the 70's and 80's he played on countless tv shows and other recording sessions. He has played for artists such as Shirley Bassey through to Basil Brush, not to mention guitar legend Jerry Donohue. This band gives Steve the chance to 'do Jaco' just like he tried to in the old days! Steve is also a composer having had his work played on film, film trailers as well as in this band.
He also plays the Chapman GRAND Stick and runs The Electronic Classical Group.
Seb Guard is a drummer with many years experience. He has featured in the pit of many a show and done hundreds of other gigs at home and abroad. He also provides a couple of tunes to the Hormones set. Seb's talents expand to percussion aswell and you can hear him clubbing the mallett KAT on 'Dubious'.
Richard Beesley is a fine saxophonist even if we say so ourselves! He has also been witnessed toting the old 'misery stick' now and again! Richard has many years of experience behind him and his playing really brings all the compositions to life.
The long awaited album is being mixed and edited as I write.
