"A stunning night of music! Sams Flamenco set captivated the audience attention from the first note, by the second song he had them eating out the palm of his hand for the rest of the night!"

–The Gallery Cabaret (Chicago, Illinois)

“For such a young man this guy certainly has talent by the bucket load...and a stage presence to match. Wowing the audience with his finger picking skills throughout the night!!”

-The Green Windmill (Manchester)

“Sam captivated the audience from the outset and although not top billing that night, definitely stole the show. In every sense this was a first class performance.”

-The Troubadour Club (Preston)

Although in the past I have worked with bands for this project its just me with my Classical guitar.

InfluencesKenny Burrell, Vicente Amigo, Grant Green, Paco Pena, Jim Mullen, Django Reinhardt, Cassandra Wilson, Ry Cooder, Miles Davis, Paco De Lucia, Pat Metheny, Juan Martín, Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane,

There are many musicians who have influenced the music I play, unfortunately there are to many to list them all hear. The names listed above are a reflection of those who have been the most influential in this particular musical venture.

Sounds LikeAs I said above there are many musicians who have influenced me as an artist. As a result it would be difficult to place a finger on one single person who I sounded like.

I hope I sound like myself but the best way of finding out is by pressing the play button.

   About Samuel Moore
Samuel Moore

“English solo acoustic artist Samuel Moore is an exceptionally talented young artist well practiced in a vast range of traditional and contemporary idioms. A true pioneer and virtuoso of finger style guitar, Sam plays with a skill and dexterity well beyond his years.”

Sams eclectic approach to composition, arrangement and improvisation stems from his many influences that span the global musical spectrum. Incorporating Flamenco, Jazz, African, Folk and other world music idioms Sam has developed a strong and unique musical voice instantly recognisable as his own. Sam has a particular interest in the Flamenco music of rural Spain and possesses a meticulous skill in bringing the true spirit of Flamenco to audiences all across the UK. A very prolific artist whose wit, energy, and musical technique combine powerfully to create an unforgettable live performance.

Although the influence of such musicians as Paco Peña, Juan Serrano and Ry Cooder have remained the backbone of his sound Sam also draws on more contemporary artists such as Bob Brozman, Vicente Amigo, Cassandra Wilson and Juan Martín in an attempt to put his own modern spin on the way that Flamenco is played whilst maintaining a strong link with the music’s roots.

Coming soon ‘The Troubadour’ New Flamenco and world music album composed, arranged and performed by Samuel Moore.

Over the past two years Sam has been busy recording his debut album 'Reaching for the Blues', gigging throughout the UK in both live music venues and on BBC radio broadcasts as well as engaging in international performances in New York City, Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans (USA tour 2008) and in Paris (France tour 2007).

In addition to his solo performances Sam is a sort after session musician and composer having worked in studios all over the UK as well as in New York City. Sam is most active in the Jazz and Roots communities and is a versatile and hard working artist, always looking for new opportunities and new avenues of music to explore. A young man not to be overlooked!

Hi! just a quick personal note from me. Thank you for visiting me hear on MySpace and I hope you enjoy what you have heard.
