After young entrepreneur Brandon (Next Selection) spent some considerable time working at the hands of one of the foremost tastemakers in music, it became increasingly clear that the climate had grown to be such that an artist's or producer's image was as important, if not more so, than his talent or musical ability. With powerhouse marketing teams constructing identities for performers and the face of music becoming increasingly homogeneous, it was time for someone to spark a change.

It is with this that the Be A Star Consulting Group was formed: in an effort to tip the scales of opportunity away from pure luck. By utilizing the connections that Brandon's work has made accessible, Be A Star has effectively created an avenue for young and talented musicians with drive, determination, and accountability, to find success. Now, with their first official placement, Be A Star is poised to re-write the industry status quo, and usher in a new wave of talent that, otherwise, would've never seen the light of day.

New submissions are recieved and distributed accordingly among our in-house A&R team. Each submitted track (up to five per artist/producer) is then carefuly reviewed and critiqued on its pros, cons, and overall quality; before our A&R's make a final decision regarding their readyness and placement ability. An email is then sent out to the client with their review set and information specifying whether they've been accepted or not. If said submission is accepted, the client is then given unparallelled access to major label A&R's, radio DJs and programmers, as well as the ability to choose artists and/or labels they feel their music fits. This not only offers clients the oppourtunity to obtain comprehensive, unbiased feedback on their work (whether they're accepted or not), but puts career defining choices like label preferences at the forefront of decision making; enabling even the most fledgling of talent to develope their resume accordingly.
