With balloons in hand and a loop station at her feet, raha is the newest voice in the long line of Toronto singer songwriters. With her musical roots laid as a classical violinist, raha creates melodic alt-folk with a mixture of piano, strings and a voice that trades jabs between the desperate yearning of a Wednesday night binge and the optimism of a better tomorrow.
