UrbanHangSuite è un forum che vede la luce nel 2004 per dar voce ai generi R&B e NuSoul. Nasce come un "tentativo di...", ma nel corso del tempo ha avuto la fortuna di trovare riscontro in vari e veri appassionati, nonchè l'appoggio di alcuni esponenti italiani del genere, che hanno contribuito a dare lustro alla community stessa. Laura Izibor, cantautrice e pianista 20enne di Dublino, di madre irlandese e padre nigeriano. Definita dall'Irish Indipendent, un incrocio
tra Alicia Keys e Macy Gray, a Maggio di quest'anno, debutterà con l'album "Let Be The Truth".
Cresciuta come molti sulle note di Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder ed altri grandi del soul, la giovane artista irlandese, è una delle più attese newbie di quest'anno.
Dopo aver firmato giovanissima con la Jive, dal 2007 è sotto contratto con l'Atlantic.
Ha già aperto le date dei concerti di Aretha Franklin, Angie Stone, The Roots e Al Green. In Italia, quest'anno, ha aperto i recenti concerti di John Legend.
