Abdou Rakhmane Diallo
"The Prince of Yella" .
By the time Abdou Rahmane Diallo "Rahmane" reached age 13 he was already popular because of a testament made by Baaba Maal on television in Senegal.
His voice is compared to Baaba Maal one of the leaders from the music scene in Senegal. However many believe his voice is an octave higher than Maal.
In 1998, after winning a competition between 30 artists from Senegal and the Francophonie award in France competing against 85 artists from around the world, he became the new great hope of Senegalese music and an ambassador of the Hal Pulaar people.
In 1999, he received a scholarship from the ex-President of Senegal Abdou Diouf to study abroad in Belgium.
Rakhmane returned to Senegal in 2005 and is determined to conquer the entire musical world.
A3D IN AFRICA!! 1/2007 In Jan. 2007 A3D successfully brought 10 new computers to the AEDEC school in Dakar Senegal, and to bring 10 new sewing machines to Les 3D in Porokhane, Senegal. The computer network is the first of its kind in a public school in Senegal, servicing over 1600 middle through high school students. At the training facility (Les 3D), the sewing machines are used to assist many young women in gaining employable skills from which they can support themselves.
