Raijin Gaijin is the new project of Itay Berger. he has been composing music under another 2 other projects as "Itaitaiko"(release music on groove zone/japan,dance n' dust/israel and more),and as "kukan-dub-lagan"(release his first album "life is nice" on candyflip records /greece and the next album is about to be release any day now.(
He play for 10 years as a DJ and producing music for long time...
His decision to make music was strongly influenced by his trip to Ibiza in 1997-8 where he visited Juan's (Muses Rapt) studio. At that time he also started to dj in Israel and abroad at mostly underground parties. During his travels he also played in Cusco, Peru as well as in New York along with Total Eclipse.
His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel. During that time he was also signed by a UK techno-house label (www.klubdj.co.uk) under the name DJ Itay for a year and flew to Japan to play at parties in Osaka and Kyoto.His style was into techno line mix with house elements. Returning back to Israel, he enrolled to sound engineering college for one year and totally committed himself to music composition.mean while He spent over two years working as a sound engineer in one of the top three sound and light companies in israel.
recently itay has introduce a new project of electro house with a psychedelic touch as RAIJIN GAIJIN in his last tour(spain-croatia and canda and more)...
he decided to develop this new vision of his,and create his own music style include electro house tech dj sets,that will be part from his new shows in the next months in Switzerland,hungary spain ,belgium greece and more.
He is working this days on his album "It's Time To Spin" that will give us a new taste of his unique style.
