One year ago on the 27th of December 2006 band members Pete and Tony Rossi lost one of the greatest influences of their lives, their father and mentor.
May he rest in peace and always be rembered. Richard A. Rossi 1932~2006
"Rail" was formed in 2002 as a CD project by brothers Tony and Pete Rossi, then joined by Travis Haulk. Wanting to find a great vocalist to front the band, the search was .. a nation wide search to no avail, along came Scott "Woody" Boyd a Pittsburgh native (formerly of "Wiskey High") to audition. Blown away by his charisma and vocal ability, he was now the front man for "Rail".
After a few rehersals the members meshed and implimented ideas, the chemisitry was beyond all expectations, music began to flow.
To finance studio cost, "Rail" hit the clubs and began booking gigs and playing around Pitttsburgh and out lying areas. The band took root almost instantly gathering a large fan base.
We're full throtle, rolling down tracks to a stage near you.
Good news for all our fans, a "Rail" debut CD is expected for release in 2008 and is closer then ever before to completion. Thanks for waiting.
Keep your dream, keep your ambition and the rest becomes reality.
SPECIAL THANKS to our families for supporting us and their ability to deal with our shit.
