What if nothing you've been told is true? Maybe nothing is impossible and anything goes. All the rules are subject to change in incredibly short order and it is the people who are inevitably responsible for the paradigm shift. Do you remember when the earth was flat? Or when the winds, the ocean, the seasons were controlled by the god(s)? A man-made reality like fashion trends, box office blockbusters, Top 10 artists and even what is considered "cool" to eat, sleep and shit.
Why do I preach this? Because as much of a hypocrite as any and all of us are sometimes, myself wholeheartedly included in the us I speak of, I believe that it is always the truth that we seek, and I do believe that questioning reality is the only path toward that light.
I grew up in small subURBAN New Jerusalem and have been running from it most of my life. My childhood was spent primarily on the railroad tracks staring at the distance of the blue lines, wondering where they led, envisioning myself and my closeknit crew being anywhere but t(here), and watching the trains roll by covered in art both beautiful and gruesome. By the time I was 15 regular trainsrides to NYC, classes at FIT and SVA, nights in the Limelight, my scene had evolved and my desire to escape had taken new forms. After some ecstatic and dangerous summers on the shore breathing with the tides, it was off to Philly for the Tyler School of Art. I studied painting, but did miserably in classes, while learning more than ever about life, people, religion, and art. Somehow never reaching my degree still left me with a new outlook and perspective on life and a reason to go further in all of my pursuits which were then and continue to be painting, both classical and graffiti, music in all forms instrumental and poetical, action sports galore, especially the boardsports and rock climbing, and certainly not stopping there.
Life has since grown to include running a business or two, having an incredible woman to live out the rest of my days with and the true gems of my existence, my daughters. I now live in the NEK of VT where I never intend to leave, and in fact think I may have been meant to be all along... it feels like home... which is a really good place for a wandering so(u)le to have found.
Who I'd like to meet: The Indigenous Tribe, the Railroad Street Rebels, Skaters, artists, graff writers, emcees, musicians, DJs, punks, and girls who aren't afraid of the boys just mentioned or who consider themselves any of the above. People who represent truth and honesty, who are truly themselves, who look out for each other and who are down to fight for the cause.

As many of you know by now, in 2009 (and hopefully for many more years to come) we will be providing action sports content for Fox Sports en Espanol magazine. This relationship will provide us the ability to distribute our content in over 1 million print magazines every month (in the US; Mexico; and Latin America), and it will also provide us the ability to distribute our video content through our exclusive relationship with MSN as well.
We hope that we will still be able to count on all of our friends, as well as industry contacts, to make this a successful year for everyone in the industry!
Our first release will be the March issue, and it will include various event coverage which also includes the upcoming Red Bull Snowscrapers event in NYC.
