OK, I have found the coolest blog site ever.
They have a list of topics to choose from and what you do is after you join the group (joining is free), select a topic that interests you, write about it and then the rest of the group rates your work. Simple. You, of course, rate theirs too. Anyway, the better your rating, the more money you can make. Oh, did I forget to mention that. Yes, you get PAID for your submitted articles. Check it out!!!
Another cool site I have found is the Care2 Petition Site although it is so much more than just petitions. It is like MySpace for grown-ups and you can create your own page, blog, create groups, share photos, and so much more. Books
I personally own several hundred books ranging from true crime, biographies, religion, romance to mysteries, poetry and music-related info books and I have read thousands more than that. Obviously, my taste in reading is as diverse as my choice in music. I have to count Stephen King and Patricia Cornwell as two of my favorite writers as well as anything devoted to the study of dreams, art, Wicca, and the art of writing. My dictionaries, rhyming ditcionary, thesaurus, and dictionary of synonyms/antonyms are the books I own with the most wear and tear on them. I find them invaluable when I write.
Heroes
This section of my profile changes on a daily basis. It is so hard to define heroes to me. In past profiles, I have stated RUSH because of the joy that have brought to my life through their music; I have stated my mother, and she has always been an inspiration in my life; but I would also like to add the men and women of the armed forces, who are at home and overseas at any given moment fighting for our country and freedoms. The soldiers of the world are the defenders of our world against the infection of terrorism and the men and women of law enforcement, our street soldiers, who serve and protect within their various communities. If you can, try to imagine our world without our soldiers and police officers. If you can do that, then next time you see one of these members, please give him or her a word of thanks, just for standing up and fighting, they are their country's heroes.
A friend sent me the following video in the spring of 2006. I didn't know quite what to expect when I first starting watching it but soon I could not stop. It is a documentary regarding the 911 attacks and, I believe, EVERY person on Earth should see it. I hope you will take the time to watch it too. There are many unanswered questions regarding that day and this video will seep into your memory as one of the most disturbing things you will ever see.

Odd Things That I Have Discovered
- Vacuum cleaners don't really work that well in grass but they pick up a lot of dirt.
- If you are going to try to repair a worn radio AC cord, it is best to unplug it from the wall before you cut it in half.
- If 9 times out of 10 you turn the light on in the bathroom at night, it will be the 1 time in 10 that you don't turn the light on that someone has left the seat up.
- If I lose something, it is usually located eventually in the last place I would have ever thought to look for it and most likely the very place where it should belong in the first place.
- The one person on this Earth that is least likely to let me down is myself.

They have truly blessed my days with music.
I would also like to meet the former cast members of the TV Show Charmed. Only after the show was cancelled did I discover it and I wait patiently every day for my Charmed "fix". I love it, love it, love it.
