Rainbo Video is a musician, filmmaker, and audio-visual artist based in Chicago. Across all media, his work incorporates a sense of playful exuberance and eccentric humor.
Forging dance party pop, baltimore club bangers, euphoric mash-ups, and melodic ambient, Rainbo Video makes brightly colored candy for the ears.
His films and art are just as kaleidoscopic, integrating everything from optical illusions, cognitive puzzles, and rigorously edited found footage to guessing games, cryptography, and 3-D forays into surrealism.
Rainbo Video also runs the music blog and net label Video Pop (http://videopopmusic.blogspot.com), which he founded in 2008.
