General
I follow an Earth Spiritual Path. I have searched for the Truth in Life and in People. My life quest has been Knowledge so I can put together my own picture. I look to the Earth to find the Creation and the Universe to see the Creator. I seek the marriage between the Natural Sciences and Spirituality as one cannot have the Creation with out Evolution as Evolution cannot be without the Creation. I am a Natural Witch and heal with herbs and oils to the best of my ability as I feel these were blessed for us to utilize. I follow my Heart and listen to my Spirit as I go through the days of my life. I love to the fullest and am a caretaker and nurturer. I also am not afraid to speak and stand up for my Beliefs both in Spiritual and Justice and the Equality of people. I follow my Intuition and am not afraid to search out what I feel is unknown. The people I choose to come into my Heart will always be there even though they are miles away as the Spirit has no limit but sometimes life gets in the way. All the people I have loved will remain within as I feel everyone who comes into your life is a special gift as love has many facets.I live with my cat Sebastian and tarantula Hades that were given to me as gifts as they were meant to come into my life and into my heart. I believe all people are created equal and cannot tolerate injustice and prejudice. I cannot understand how anyone can judge a person by their race, gender orientation, or belief system as this only proves true ignorance. If we were blinded we would only feel the essence of people so look beyond and look within the hearts of others and look within your own heart and feel.

Books by Dr. Brian Weiss on Past Lives. Zecharia Sitchin's books and Erich von Daniken area truly amazing. Herbal and essential oils and natural healing. Spiritual Paths and cultural books. Carl Sagan is a wonderful author and a very interesting read. Stephen Hawking is excellent as he brings science to everyone. New information everyday coming out with excellent Authors...too many to even list.
Heroes
Sitting Bull, Black Elk and all of the Native Spiritual leaders and warriors who gave up their lives for what they believed in. Kevin Annett...as his devotion in seeking out the TRUTH on the autrosities of the Canadian boarding schools and striving for justice and accountablity for the wrong doings for the Native People. The political prisoners who's lives were sacrificed for a belief. All the men and women in the Armed Forces. Dr. Brian Weiss. All the Authors who put themselves out on a limb to write about ideas that are new...both in history and modern day. The scientists who search for the truth in yesterdays and today. The people on MySpace who put up pages to show their Beliefs and what they stand for...the work that went into sharing information to educate all who wish to read and listen.The musicians who share their art freely on their pages to allow us to hear their inner most feelings through their music. Most of all...MY CHILDREN who have been with me through all the ups and downs of life. MY GRANDCHILDREN who give me such joy to watch them grow as extensions of my children.My family as I have been blessed with the best! My friends who chose me to be in their lives and have proved to be loyal through everything. I am a romantic at heart wishing everything has a "Happily Ever After" ending. I still long for that. I hurt for all the injustice in the world. I need balance in my life and have a difficult time not understanding how people can just take without giving back. I like adventure like walking through the woods and finding beauty in everything...walking the shore line of Lake Superior and experiencing the many moods of the grandest of the Great Lakes. Finding treasures from nature like a rock or a feather, even a piece of driftwood that calls out.A walk in the rain...feeling the rain upon your face or blowing bubbles and watching the beautiful colors in the sunlight...a putting a little Spell into it doesn't hurt either! Watercolors as the colors flow together and takes its own personality like Magick! Sewing and second hand stores where you can find that certain something and also recycle.Quiet evenings with candlelight and a cup of herbal tea. Music that touches your heart and Soul. People to admire as they stand up for their beliefs. Simple joys...simple pleasures. A Full Moon...the Stars...the Sky...feathers...rocks...and even a mud puddle!

I was a single mom and raised three wonderful children that I am very proud of. We grew up and struggled together but through the struggles we also grew close as a family. Now as adults they have become strong and independent with the knowledge of who they are and their place in the world.

AMAZING ELEPHANT STORY

In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University .

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully.
He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot. The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.
Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.
Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same fucking elephant.
