Grupo conformado por cuatro músicos con una edad promedio de 25 años y que se remonta a
1997, cuando el bajista Marcos Zabala y el guitarrista y líder del grupo Sebastián Osorio,
comenzaron a esbozar las primeras ideas e inmediatamente surgió la química espontánea que
originó los primeros acordes de esta lluvia de metales.
No obstante, fue en 1999 el año en que Raining dio inicio oficial a su carerra, con 5
miembros: a los originales Zabala y Osorio en bajo y guitarra se incorporaron Rodrigo Peña
(guitarra); Cristian Martinez (bateria) y Cristopher Flores (voz), quienes parieron el
primer tema original Game of Death, que mas tarde daría nombre a su primer demo
profesionalmente grabado. A finales de aquel año, Martinez deja los tarros y lo reemplaza
Jonathan Villela quien se convirtió en el baterista que grabó el disco Pain Machines para
posteriormente dar paso al ahora actual poderoso baterista Guillermo Morales.
También se producen cambios en el frente y las voces pasan a ser tarea de Juan Pablo
Arancibia, sumado a la llegada de Cristian Salinas en la segunda guitarra.
En el año 2000 se realizan varios eventos en donde Raining participa de memorables
presentaciones como Metalplanet Bloodfest, Heavy Metal Attack, también conciertos en Puerto
Montt y Temuco.
El año 2004 deja la banda Cristián Salinas, quedando la banda sólo con Sebastián Osorio a
cargo de grabar las guitarras para el disco debut el cuál fue grabado el año 2005 a cargo de
los estudios Punto Decibel, en donde Sebastián Rojas (Chupete) se encargaría de las
grabaciones, mezcla y masterización.
El año 2005 RAINING participo de los eventos Escudo Power Party en sala SCD Vespucio y en
Bar la Batuta.
El año 2007, Raining clasifica semifinalista entre 2.600 bandas participantes en el concurso
de bandas emergentes de una reconocida marca de cerveza, en esa oportunidad teloneando a
grandes del underground nacional
Actualmente la formación es: Juan Pablo Arancibia, voz; Sebastián Osorio, guitarra; Marcos
Zavala, bajo y Guillermo Morales en batería
Band formed in the late of 1997 by 4 musicians that their ages are 25 years old average. At
that time Marcos Zabala “Bass Player” and Sebastian Osorio “ Lead Guitar and Front man of
the band” got together and put on the works some ideas giving the birth to this Raining of
Metal Melodies and Riffs.
But it was on 1999 when officially is named Raining starting their musical career with 5
official members, Marcos Zabala/Bass, Sebastian Osorio/Lead Guitar, Rodrigo Peña/Guitar,
Cristian Martinez/Drums, Cristopher Flores/Vocals, who give life to their first original
song called “Game of Death”, that will be later the name of their professional demo
recording. Later that year Martinez leaves the drums and is replaced by Jonathan Villela who
recorded the album later on, but it was replaced for the actual drummer called “Guillermo
Morales”.
Also there were some changes on the front sections, the vocals are taken by Juan Pablo
Arancibia and the second guitar spot is taken by Cristian Salinas. In the 2000’s Raining
participated on several events like:
Metalplanet Bloodfest, Heavy Metal Attack, Puerto Montt and Temuco. In 2004 Cristián Salinas
leaves the band leaving the band with only Sebastian on the Guitars for their Debut Album on
2005.
The album was recorded on “Studios Punto Decibel” and Masterized by Sebastián “Chupete”
Rojas.
Late on that year Raining participate on big Known Events like Escudo Power Party at Sala
SCD Vespucio and also Bar la Batuta.
By now the line up is: : Juan Pablo Arancibia/Vocals, Sebastián Osorio/Guitars, Marcos
Zavala/Bass, Guillermo Morales/Drums.
