Born in Beirut, Lebanon he moved to Reykjavík Iceland at an early age and has lived there since. There is a certain dualism in his poetry and music, derived from wide array of influences. The main musical influences can be found in the 70's rock, jazz and folk and world music, along with a good dose of French chansonniers. Most of his music is played with live instruments, not sampled, which is rather an exception for a hip hop artist.
