About me:
RAISE... C'est quoi ?
Le nouveau trimestriel trendy et gratuit qui met en avant de jeunes photographes en leur offrant un espace de liberté artistique.
RAISE n’est pas un magazine artistique de plus, où l’on voit encore et toujours la même chose… Ce nouveau magazine a son propre style et ses propres codes. Le meilleur moyen d’en juger reste encore de se le procurer.
Il présente avant tout des photos racontant une histoire, les beaux clichés vides de sens... genre des filles qui sautent... OUT ! Chaque artiste propose son univers à travers une série d'images, chacune est appuyée par un texte d’auteur, scénariste ou parolier. De plus, le contenu éditorial de RAISE est délibérément concis, mais il est avant tout qualitatif et offre un vrai "plus" aux visuels.
Chaque numéro met en lumière 7 auteurs et 7 photographes. Les artistes bénéficient d’une totale liberté d‘expression, RAISE n’impose pas de thème précis à chaque parution, c’est l’occasion pour les photographes de laisser libre court à leur imagination et de proposer une série de photos qu’ils ont toujours voulu réaliser.
L’art et la culture étant le moteur de RAISE, le magazine présente également l’actualité culturelle et surtout photographique, principalement à Paris. La rédaction fait part de ses choix en matière d’expositions, de vernissages incontournables, de sorties cinéma…
La qualité technique, graphique et éditoriale de RAISE est le pari de la rédaction.

RAISE... What is it?
The new quaterly free and trendy magazine that points out young
photographers by offering them a space of artistic freedom.
RAISE isn't "another" magazine, that always offers the same thing
again and again... this new magazine has it's own style and codes. The
best way to judge it, is to get it.
Raise will present above all, narative photo stories: good looking
photos making no sens... like girls jumping around... OUT ! Each
artist proposes his or her own univers through a series of pictures,
each one is endorsed by an author text, a script-writer or a lyrics
writer. Moreover, the editorial content of RAISE is deliberately
short, but pre-eminently it is qualitative and offers a real "plus" to
the visual aids.
Each issue points out 7 authors and 7 photographers. The artists
dispose of total creative freedom, RAISE doesn't impose any precise
topic for it's publications, it's the perfect occasion for the
photographers to let their imagination run wild and propose a series
that they always dreamed of realising.
Art and culture being the driving force behind RAISE, the magazine
also presents cultural activities, mostly photographic and mainly in
Paris. The editorial staff suggests it's choices in terms of
exhibitions, private inogurations that cannot be ignored or new movies
in theater...
The technical, graphic and editorial quality of RAISE is the the
gamble the staff has chosen to take.
