RAISE THE GUNS (RTG) is a hard-hitting, aggressive band hailing from San Diego, California.
Combining elements of Thrash, roots Metal; and loud, in your face rock, RTG strives to bring a
modern and original perspective to a re-emerging Southwest Rock/Metal scene.
RTG is currently hard at work in pre-production for an upcoming EP targeted for completion in late
2009-early 2010. Two demo tracks of the single “Evil Days,” recorded in these sessions, are
posted above and feature guest work by Jason Krebbs (formerly of As I Lay Dying) and Mikey Pannone
(of Discord and Hate Times Nine).
Tracks from these sessions have also earned RTG spots on both Anderson Silva’s and Antonio
Nogiera’s Mixed Martial Arts instructional videos (Victory Belt Publishing). While the upcoming
track “Blood Religion” is featured on Turner Motorsports’ (2006 and 2007 Grand Am Cup champions)
video, to debut their new Rolex GT M6 series race car.
Currently booking shows from San Diego through Orange County and Los Angeles, and with an eye towards Las Vegas and the Phoenix/Tempe area in spring 2010, RAISE THE GUNS is poised to step confidently onto the greater stage of the Southwest scene.

Hey there Trent! Yeah we were going to play that show, was booked for a while but had some personal stuff come up that had be taken care of and were out of town in a different direction than San Diego :(.
