Raising Scarlet is a high energy female fronted band that plays a mix of covers and originals - from rock to blues, R&B, funk and more - always with an emphasis on upbeat danceable grooves.
Raising Scarlet is the brainchild of the husband and wife team of Tammy and Mike Myles. As lead singer, guitarist, and front-woman Tammy is both beauty and brains behind Raising Scarlet. Her unstoppable creative force and boundless energy come through loud and clear in her live performances. Whether it's raw rock & roll, soulful grooves or a tender love song Tammy's musical talents and diversity are a very rare find. And all that done live with the flare and confidence that reaches out and grabs an audience.
 On guitar, vocals and harmonica Mike Myles has played in a number of bands all around New England for many years prior to joining forces with Tammy in late 2004. He has his own particular playing style grounded in blues and funk. Both eclectic and accessible his musical style encompasses everything from groove heavy, riff driven rock to layered tones of depth and complexity.
On bass we have Mike Solis. He brings a killer sound and keen musical sense to the project. And back on the kit, Cameron Thomas - a rock solid 'in the pocket' drummer. The two make up a top notch rhythm section that keep the grooves going.
