Raja Wilco’s lyrics are able to offer feelings at no cost. He encourages his listeners to love, criticize, ignore, and anticipate without any of the risks of which these feelings may engage us in. Plus he discusses global topics such as the Tsunami and politics, in “Stand Up” (produced by Kami K) featured on the Tsunami relief based album Patha Nai Jinde Kadh Muk Jani E released worldwide on the UK based Moviebox record label which had also received radio play on Nitelife Radio in the US and the Adil Ray Show in the UK.
The biggest club-banger to come out of the U.S. from any Indian artist is the Reggae-Punjabi influenced track “Tonight” ft. G-Deep which has gotten radio play on ImaginAsian radio in NYC, Desi Hits Radio in Houston, Texas, as well as, BBC’s Panjabi Hit Squad and showcased by the world famous Jay Dabhi at mix shows and clubs in Europe and across the world. He has also gotten consistent airplay on Global Asian Sounds with Manga Shaanti on Galaxy Manchester Radio with a variety of hits and freestyles.

Wilco’s wit is also evident in the track which he performed, titled, “Come With Me,” where he tells the female, “I love what you’re wearin’, you’re a fan of fashion, but Dolce, Gabbana, Prada, nada…my suggestion is Wilco, strictly Raja…” He is charismatically able to put his lyrical wittiness and intelligence into play, as he easily rhymes to the music.

Raja Wilco is the type of artist who will present hip-hop to those who haven’t recognized it before and bring South Asian culture out to the forefront of the mainstream musical culture. Raja Wilco grew up with a hard influence of Hip-hop, Reggae, and R&B, along with the family exhibiting Hindi music.
