| General | Art, love, food, and sex, either by themselves or in combination. I should say some kinds of food don't go well with sex. For instance I don't recommend eating a triple decker egg salad sandwich before going down on a date, and I'm not saying I've done that. I'm just saying I don't recommend doing it. | | Music | It's good to listen to. I recommend it highly. In fact I often listen to music my self. I don't really have a favorite band or genre though. I think it is too limiting to start think of my favorite this or my favorite that. I do my best to remain open to every auditory experience, although I have on some occasions wished I was deaf. | | Movies | I make them. | | Television | When I have time I watch the X Files. Graham Norton cracks me up.
Sometimes I watch TV just for the editing and camera work. That makes it a bit hard to follow the story, but some times the story.... um... never mind. | | Books | I'm a very careful reader, and you have to be when you are dyslexic. I can't tell you the number of times I have mixed up does and dose. For a while I thought every one was on drugs. I mean all these people dosing all the time. We'll never win the war on drugs. It's enough to make a guy want to chug down a pint of cough syrup. | | Heroes | Well that's six of one and a half a dozen of the other isn't it? I mean if you have none you'll never be disappointed but then who will you be inspired by? The dead ones seldom let you down but they can never respond to current events. Politicians? forget them! The best we can hope for is that they are only soiling some one's dry cleaning instead of starting WW-III.
I recommend picking names out of a phone book... and then calling occasionally to tell them how much they've inspired you, and then asking for their advice on the problems that are currently confronting you. Their thoughtful suggestions will astound you. |
