Who Am I? Good question. Who am I NOT might be a better one. Read my blogs, listen to my music, read my magazine and you will see a little of who I am. But only a few REALLY know me. Fewer still really UNDERSTAND me. My thinking isn't confined by beliefs in a higher power or fear of a burning inferno. My parents instilled in me a strong sense of right and wrong and I live my life in a more moral fashion than most people who kneel and ask for forgiveness & pay their 10% god tax every sunday.
I empty myself of negativity through my music, paintings and writings so that it doesn't spill into the other aspects of my life and thus am almost always in a pleasant mood. We all know what we need to do to get to where we need/want to be and thus I trust my instincts and I look to myself for guidance. On rare occasion i'll call a friend. I love/hate my cell phone. I can't live with it, can't live without it. But it does play all the old Nintendo games so thats a plus. I don't get the whole texting phenomenon, but I can't keep myself from doing it. I love and hate technology. I will retire to the mountains of China before I die and live with the monks. Hopefully. Away from our technological heaven/hell.
I'm not driven by money. It comes and goes and even when I have plenty of it, It doesn't make me happy. Yes, it bought me PS3's, musical instruments and all the wonders of this technological age, but they just gather dust once I'm bored. I've been offered alot of money working for other people but I don't want to be anyones slave any more. I like working for myself and things were going amazing until some little bastards broke into my office and stole all my equipment in June. The last 4 months has been a slow process of trying to get everything back together. It's coming along nicely. Slowly but nicely.
The thing that made me the happiest in a long time was Kung-Fu at Flores Kung Fu Academy. Unfortunately, my life has been so hectic over the last year that I haven't had the time to go. But I will. Soon. There is something about it that I just love. I love weapons training but I love the gracefulness/deadlyness of it too. Beautiful and deadly. Like some women i've known. I think too much. My head is stuck on overdrive. Sometimes it's hard to sleep. After kung fu though, the turmoil in my head is calmed and I can sleep.
My dreams are vivid and strange. If i could record my dreams I'm sure I could package them, sell them and win some awards. My sub-conscious mind is awesome. My waking mind is jealous of it.

though it sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock tale, it's absolutely true:
This guy was on the side of the road hitch hiking on a very dark and stormy night. The night was cold and wet and no cars went by. The storm was so strong he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him.
Suddenly, he saw a car coming towards him and stopped. The guy, without thinking about it, got in the car, closed the door, and only then realized that there was nobody behind the wheel!
The car starts going again, very slowly. The guy looks at the road and sees a curve coming his way. Scared, he starts to pray and begs for his life. Just before the car hits the curve, a hand appears through the driver's window and turns the wheel.
The guy, paralyzed in terror, watched how the hand appeared each time the car approached a curve. Gathering his strength, he gets out of the car and runs all the way to the nearest town.
Wet and in shock, he goes into a cantina, asks for two shots of tequila and starts telling everybody about the horrible experience he just went through. A silence enveloped everyone when they realized the guy was crying hysterically and wasn't drunk.
About a half hour later, two other guys walk into the same cantina and one said to the other, "Mira, vato.. That's the Pendejo that got in the car while we were pushing it!"
