Yes, my previous account was deleted. I had over 7000 friends, and now they're all gone. The wonders of words, the internet, and life's troubles.
My kidney infection in July 2007 literally almost killed me. I had a fever of over 105 and blood poisoning. I went to the emergency room twice, until I was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Hospital just down the street from my home, and had to even get MRIs and loads of saline. I'm still in debt for some of the bills. The pain was equivalent to somehow being shot multiple times at pointblank range right in my left kidney. I've recovered a great deal, but it still comes and goes (and so can the stones unfortunately). When it happened, it felt more like someone's hand got stuck inside my body, and was cemented in a fist around my left kidney. Doing much better now thanks to de-stressing, better living, and drinking more water daily. Life is short, but it is magical. Oh, I now eat a mostly macrobiotic diet (that is mostly vegetarian), but I still smoke. :)

The following video is for the unique and creative band, lo:lita, and I also directed it. The song is called "Lucy's OK?". It's hypnotically edited and beautifully effected out by the brilliant Ken Cravens.
Below that are two videos that I directed and produced for Berlin-based music artist, Compulsory Skin. The first is a beautiful video for the song, "Stained", which was shot entirely in infrared at night. The second video is for the song, "All U Can Eat", and starred Gidget Gein, Lilah Martin, Jezahell Van Horn, Rob Gray, Bianca Barnett, and Eric Fleming. It features a lot of Gidget Gein's art, including some pieces in an art gallery. I hope you enjoy them both. They are vastly different from one another... There's also a link to an interview with me on The Stream that comes up right above these two videos.

We shot the video with a special infrared camera with a pro-mist 2 filter, and altered the frame rate. We also boosted the grain a tiny bit, and pulled the green out slightly.
It's really beautiful, and the song is a big part of what makes it special. She's angelic.
