I'm a proud military spouse (go Air Force!) with four boys, ages 3, 4, 5, and 6. I spend most of my free time writing and reading and updating my website. I live in Springfield, Nebraska which is pretty much the center of good old USA. I do have a degree in Psychology but have learned that it doesn't do me much good in raising my kids because they haven't taken the time to learn how I am supposed to train them. For anyone familiar with the reward vs. punishment Skinner approach, you know what I'm talking about.
Music
Anything but jazz (except for Double's "The Captain of her Heart") and rap, but I do like rap mixed with classical music (such as Sweetbox).
Movies
Anything Tyler Perry (I esp. love Madea), natural disaster flicks (like The Day After Tomorrow), Spiderman (all three), and light-hearted comedies.
Television
Psych, Monk, Star Trek, Star Trek Next Generation, I Love Lucy and Hannity and Colmes.
Books
The Bible, romances, thrillers/suspense, fantasy, and YA. I do not like biographies or histories.
Heroes
My mom (now in Heaven) and dad, Karen (my dad's new wife), and Peter the Apostle (though he denied Christ three times, God still greatly used him -- he's an inspiration).

Here's a exerpt from With This Ring, I Thee Dread:
Who Knew a Food Fight Could Lead to More?
She threw two more eggs at him, but they flew by him and landed on the floor. “Stay back!”
“You’re having fun.”
“I am not!” she fibbed.
“I see a smile forming on your lips. You like getting messy.”
“Are you crazy? I have to clean myself and the kitchen up.”
“I told you I have the kitchen covered. And I’ll be happy to take care of you too.”
She knew she couldn’t hold onto the sprayer once he grabbed it. He was too strong for her. She shrieked as he sprayed water all over her.
He stopped and stared at her. “Aren’t you going to run out of the kitchen?”
She hesitated. If she did that, she would get the living room messy.
As if he could read her mind, he asked, “Can I do anything I want to you in this kitchen because you refuse to get the rest of the cabin dirty?”
She struggled to make her wet feet move but her mind refused to go. She was covered in wet flour. It felt like paste. How could she leave a trail of this awful stuff on the floor so she could get to the shower?
“I’m getting closer,” he warned her, stepping towards her.
She anxiously looked at the doorway. She turned to the eggs and threw one at his chest. Before she could throw another one at him, he took her in his arms and kissed her.

The latest collection of romance books. Currently, I have 12 done and the 2 are being written as we speak. I didn't even realize I had written so much over the last three years.
