I grew up on my
families Farm/Ranch in West Texas
just outside the
small town of Hodges, Texas (Population 27)
In 1985, I graduated from Tarleton State University/Texas A&M
and moved to Dallas
where I pursued an acting career
appearing in over
100 national commercials, feature films
and TV series
including "DALLAS"
In 1989, I moved to Los Angeles to study acting/filmmaking
at UCLA and AFI and
joining Warner Bros. as Department head
of Corporate
Services. When Warner Bros bought back the
Burbank Studios, I
was in charge of relocating the
entire Corporate
Staff onto the New Warner Bros lot.
I met up with my
high school friend Marilyn Webber,
who was attending
AFI as a screenwriter. She asked me
to work on her
short film "Last Breeze of Summer.
The short film went
on to grab an Oscar nomination.
In 1994, I became Administrator of TV, working with
ER, FRIENDS, LIVING
SINGLE, SUDDENLY SUSAN,
& 30 other shows.
While working as Administrator of TV,
we produced our
first feature film "Border to Border"
with a newly
created production company
"Stage 15
Productions" formed by 6 WB employees.
BORDER which went
on to win the
NY Int'l
Independent Film Festival and the
Las Vegas Int'l
Film Festival and was screened at Cannes.
In 1998, I went to work with JOHN WELLS PRODUCTIONS
and worked with
productions, ER, TRINITY, WEST WING,
ADVERSARIES & THIRD
WATCH.
In 1999, I left Warner Bros to worked on independent features
"PUZZLED",
"NOTORIOUS C.H.O.", CHO REVOLUTION,
"IM THE ONE THAT I
WANT", and the awarding winning shorts
"GAME DAY", "FUGLY"
and "APPLE JACK", which won
"Best Film" at the
Los Angeles Int'l Short Film Festival in 2003,
a top ten finalist
award for Project Greenlight
and was a top 10
finalist for an Oscar Nomination in 2003.
In 2003, I returned to Warner Bros. to work in
Technical
Operations for Feature Films and TV
and I'm writing and
producing projects on the side
