About me: I am the library serving the Rancho Cordova area in Sacramento CA. I am into books, music, films, oh heck, I'm into everything. If you can think of it, I have some information on it.

Act!vated Storytellers
Well, we made it to Florida and opened our new show "Shakespeare Shazam" after pulling some 14 hour rehearsal/sewing days to get the production ready for the stage. Kimberly even managed to sew while Dennis drove across Texas.
So now one of us is off playing with Mickey Mouse and zooming around on the rollercoasters at Universal Studios. Guess which one. The other two went flying on 120 mile gusts of wind - literally. They floated about 15 feet high. And they took a bus trip to catch the casino cruise one afternoon.
Unfortunately our boarder from Sacramento wasn't able to make it on this leg of the tour with us. We are hoping to meet up with her in Chicago. (side note to Mr. Tim: we will use the papers that you signed then!)
Hope everyone is doing well out in Sacramento. Drop by and leave us a comment.

We have finished putting together our new multicultural show and are about to get serious about production for "Shakespeare Shazam!". Zephyr (our 16 year old son) is excited because he designed the set for the teens room (the set takes up a page of our giant oversized portable book) and he gets to play his electric guitar in the show (might even get to use his fog machine). Mom is going to have fun sewing the challenging costumes (in an RV at some campground non-the-less) and Dad is still polishing and typing the script (luckily Shakespeare did a good portion of it 400 years ago). We'll be debuting the Shakespeare show at a middle school in Florida Feb. 17th. Right after we stop in New Orleans to help Habitat for Humanity rebuild houses.
We'll also be picking up a "boarder" in New Orleans. Zephyr's adopted big sis Ellie (who we met at the Rancho Cordova Library a few years back - thanks Mr. Tim!) is flying in from San Diego to tour with us through April. Should be fun squeezing another person in to our 20' motorhome!
Oh and we all get to yield a sword and fight each other in the Shakespeare show - great family fun! So don't mind us if you happen to see us sword fighting somewhere along the highway between New Mexico and Florida.
Our summer tour to libraries is filling in quite compactly but we do have availability in Spring and Fall. Take a gander at our touring schedule to see if we have any shows near you!
