Ranch Party Country Night, founded and hosted by Mark Christian and Merle Jagger formerly stationed at the legendary but now defunct iconic Hollywood bar, The Lava Lounge, was once a more intimate but no less raucous, whiskey fueled showcase of local honky honk, alt country and roots rock bands from March 05 to March 07.
Borrowing a formula similar to that of the classic country music TV show from the late fifties, Tex Ritter’s Ranch Party, Ranch Party Country Night features many local modern day LA Country and roots music pioneers with the unique and unpredictable music of hosts Merle Jagger and DJ Cowboy Nick.
Thank you for accepting my request. My name is Chrishonda and I'm currently working on going to school for computer graphic arts. At the moment I'm designing basic custom Myspace layouts for musicians on Myspace for just $5. I also do photo touch ups for free. If you want a layout or some photos done, just let me know. (Don't forget to spread the word about me to other musicians.) Thank you.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
