The Beatles, awesome glass bottles, shaking up sodas, MikWright books, shopping at SVdP, trying out new recipes, British music magazines, RIT dye, tattoos, scones, stickers, cooking, talking about the Beatles with someone who is genuinely interested, books about the Beatles, laughing and making others laugh, finding great funny clips of the Beatles, the smell of fabric softener, cookbooks, listening to new music, the sounds of the dryer and the dishwasher, The Beatles, and making mix cds.
SOME GENERAL DISLIKES: The phrase "Git-R-Done," dreamcatchers, rude people, disaster nudity, being broke, tYpInG lIkE tHiS, people who post too many inane survey bulletins, and stupid people.
Music
I listen to anything and everything.
I absolutely love the Beatles, everything else is secondary. To me, they are utterly fantastic. I firmly believe that there is at least one great song to be found in every genre.
Movies
Anything by Christopher Guest! Drop Dead Gorgeous, Shaun of the Dead, Saved!, Home For The Holidays....I have a bunch of favorites.
Television
I'll watch just about anything. I love A&E, The Office, Criminal Minds, and Wife Swap.
Books
Anything by Laurie Notaro! I'm a member of the Idiot Girls Action Adventure Club! That sounds like something that most people wouldn't be proud of....
"Of course, I would enjoy nothing more that getting some really cheap bath crystals, so I could use them when I take a shower because I don't have a bathtub. If you could get me some that smell like Pine-Sol or an old lady's teeth, I would squeal with glee! Happy piglet I would be. What else would be more relaxing than tossing up a handful of crystals and running around my shower stall so they hit me and stick to me like kitty litter?"
Anything by David Sedaris! He is so completely hilarious!
"Listen, you might want to pack a few of your things before going to bed. The former Bishop of Turkey will be coming tonight along with six to eight black men. They might put some candy in your shoes, they might stuff you into a sack and take you to Spain, or they might just pretend to kick you. We don't know for sure, but we want you to be prepared."
And Plastic Jesus by Poppy Z. Brite
Heroes
John Lennon, I know...it sounds incredibly cliche. He was so fascinating. Yeah, did I mention that I LOVE The Beatles?
Who I'd like to meet: Ideally, I'd love to have met John Lennon or George Harrison. I'd love to meet His Maccaness and Ringo though. I don't know, I would really like to meet George Martin or would like to have met Leonard Bernstein. I guess that's about it...
I really wish I could get this guy in the kitchen with me. I would die if Macca made me mashed potatoes.
