Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.

Klimek is Sebastian Meissner and is a longtimer in ambient/techno land. We know him from his work as Random Inc., Bizz Circuits and Autopoieses, and a couple of albums on the Kompakt label and now the second one for Anticipate Recordings, the first one being the great Dedications album from 2007.
Klimek brings us in 50 minutes the subliminal machinations of the film score, ten pieces of music for non-existing movies. Inside the booklet that comes with the cd you will get a large explanation on this subject, I will stick to the music. And the title “Movies is magic…real life is tragic” (Brian Wilson & Van Dyke Parks) says it all. What you get here is tragic, but also sparkling. Electronic sounds combined with rich orchestral structures, strange sounds, and some rhythmic pieces. Barely vocals, except for the voice of Michael Gira (“Put your knife in me”). This is truly one of the best Klimek releases, it keeps you in constant tension and let you’re own imagination make the movies.
