recorded 'everything' and 'crazy kids' with guitar, bass and tambourine, on a digital 8 track. Then i met steve, we became playrock and he recorded 'co-op', 'lets move' and 'touble' during practise. Then baker joined on bass, and we recorded 9 songs at Valleyview studio. We've yet to put on the vocals, so still some time before its done still. lyrics are there. In the meantime, been playing "hidden" shows;vacant buildings, of which there are a lot in this town, parkades, ravines, train tunnels and the like. fun stuff.
In contrast to the "solo" shows, we have a project called rebecca and james where we have all kinds of folks drop by and make some really fun music. Lots of people so far have played the room, sometimes we get a swirling noise of a dozen of us at once. A mix of those who have never played an instrument and others are stellar gigging muscicians. Not so much a band of musical chairs, but a space filled by the ebb and flow of folk, one where all the levels are equal.
