Photobucket Random Sound started out in Sweden 2006 and contains four members who work full time with the band. Their music is a beaty and deep pop/rock with a touch of soul, funk and modern synth sounds. Which you will hear on their new record “The World As We Know It” (2012), that will be presented by promotion agents around Europe. For the last couple of years, the Swedish band Random Sound has been developed into a group of recognized musicians. This proved with their promotion record “First Round”, which brought their music beyond the Swedish borders. 2011 was an eventful year for Random Sound. They recorded an album, released an EP with tracks that’s been played at radio stations around Europe, they’ve also done radio interviews and made promo talks. Many have shown interest in playing their music.

The songwriter, Anton Sandström, search for influences in all kind of genres and styles, eager to find new ways to express the songs with different sounds and interpretation of music. In the creation of their music, Victor Fransson’s drum playing and his way of thinking brings a creative and distinct attitude. Erik Lindqvist gives a mixture of tough and caressing sounds from his strings and has brought some ideas to the sound with his experimental, but yet critical mind. With his unique voice, the vocalist Lasse Ulvatne makes the sound even more exciting and original, which completes the sound with his mysterious and powerful way of singing.

Random Sound has played all around Sweden and they’ve been very successful. Even if they are playing in small clubs or on greater festival stages they always make a great show and they can make almost any audience dance. Their performance and stage show combined with the music they’re playing is proven to be very appreciated by all kinds of people.
