Originally inspired by amateur films from the late sixties, like Rick Harper's timeless "Gross Gems", which we watched on Bob Wilkins' Creature Features show, my brother and I experimented with a series of our own short films, entitled, "Shocking Tales".
Our latest project, "Thirty Second Doom", is an original, four chapter homage to the great Republic serials of the forties and, in particular, the classic Commando Cody and Rocketman characters.

thank you very much for the feedback! I would ramp it slower but I shot everything in 24fps. It looks to jerky when I slow it down. I'm definitely shooting some of the sequences in 60fps+ to ramp down to slow mo in the future (I still have a couple more days of pick up shots to tighten the b-roll for the doc.)
