You might remember the names Joe Sample (The Crusaders) and Randy Crawford from the 1979 international hit "Street Life." It was Randy's powerful vocals and Joe's soulful groove that helped make that song a success. They have teamed up again, producing FEELING GOOD, a collection of 13 songs covering classic soulful jazz and RnB tunes as well as tracks you might least expect (Peter Gabriel, Leo Sayer). Happily the vocals and groove are still there. With help from Steve Gadd on drums and Christian McBride on bass, FEELING GOOD really makes you FEEL GOOD! The album is currently out in Japan on Video Arts Music, in the EU on Universal International and in the US/Canada on PRA Records, distributed through Ryko.
Tracklisting: 1. Feeling Good 2. End of the Line 3. But Beautiful 4. Rio De Janeiro Blue 5. Lovetown 6. See Line Woman 7. Tell Me More and More and Then Some 8. Everybody's Talking 9. When I Need You 10. Save Your Love For Me 11. Last Night at Danceland 12. All Night Long 13. Mr. Ugly.

Stellar vocal and brilliant pianism on 'Feeling Good'. I wish Dr. Simone could hear it: I bet she hears it anyway. 'Street Life' from Abbey Road Series is so rich I had to have some black coffe with it. Thank you so much. Now how about a Sample of 'My Baby just Cares for Me'--I'd love to hear what both of you could do with it. I have lots of Yuban here. God bless you and your families.
