This is a list of political prisoners held in Lima, Peru prisons due to their participation in the Andahuaylas indigenous and popular uprising on January 1, 2005 through January 4, 2005. They are being held in the prisons of the pro-imperialist Alan Garcia regime which was notorious during his first government from 1985-1990 for the massacres of prisoners at el Fronton and Lurigancho in 1986. The fascists involved in those executions are in his current regime, such as Admiral Giampietri who was personally in charge of the El Fronton massacre.
It is up to the international progressive community to support these prisoners and their human rights which are being trampled only because they stood up to the neoliberal regime of Toledo and his pro-imperia
