NYC based singer songwriter/composer Randy Lee was born and raised in Hollis Queens. He is a two time EMMY Award winning composer and has scored several indie films as well as scenes for feature films "Killing Zoe" and "Natural Born Killers." He recently scored and wrote and performed an original song for the acclaimed short "Deathdealer" starring Henry Rollins - now available on iTunes films. Randy has also written for many, many TV shows and hundreds of commercials.
After backing up or producing some of New York City's finest artists, Randy has recently stepped out of the studio and from behind the bass to perform his own songs. He's currently recording his first solo album and performing to rave reviews. He still plays bass for NYC rockers Stuntcycle and has produced their latest album "Double Down."
Introspective, thoughtful lyrics delivered with simple, passionate vocals and memorable hooks. A true artist, Randy wears his heart on his sleeve. Billboard magazine calls the heartfelt songwriter an artist to watch.
Randy recently wrote the music for this Public Service Announcement for the UN and World Refugee Day featuring Angelina Jolie . . .
