   About Randy Howard
Born and raised in Macon, GA, Randy Howard was centered around and influenced by all the great sounds created from this part of Georgia. The Southern rock movement, traditional country sounds as well as the old Southern gospel overtones can be heard through out Randy's work. AS A RECORDING ARTIST, Randy has released seven albums and CD's, all of which have charted impressively in both national and international trade magazines. "Now & Then" and "Not Plugged In" on the Utopian label. "All American Redneck" on Warner Brothers, the self-titled "Randy Howard" on Atlantic, "Macon Music" on Hitsound (Europe), the new "Randy Howard Live" and "The Best of Randy Howard" compilation. AS A WRITER, Randy's songs have been recorded by The Geezinslaw Brothers, Robin Lee and Hank Williams III, Hank's version of Randy's "I Don't Know" was a top forty hit in Billboard, and was #1 for five weeks on the Texas Music Chart. When Hank III sang it during his debut performance on The Grand Ole Opry, he received a standing ovation. On Hank III's newest CD "Straight To Hell", you will find Randy's "My Drinking Problem" as a featured song. AS A PERFORMING ARTIST Randy has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Jr., Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels, Greg Allman and many others. He has appeared on "Nashville Now", "Entertainment Tonight" and featured on "Good Morning America" and in "USA Today". "All American Redneck, released on Warner Brothers Records in 1983, is still considered a cult/jukebox classic. Clint Eastwood, who is responsible for signing Randy to Warner Brothers, has commissioned, and owns the rights to a movie script based on the song. hello randy! my name is dave aka burma shave. i saw you get up and play at the billy joe shaver show a few weeks back. you sounded great. i've always liked the hank III version, but nothing beats hearin' the original. i used to play in a band called the rounders and then in bathtub gin. i've been playing some gigs with brian "husky" burnette. he speaks very highly of you. i'd like to see you play if you ever get back around chattanooga or close by. i really like your songs. thanks for adding me to your friends.

'til the wheels fall off,

Hey Randy I was thinkin'....add more wrinkles to your face, let your hair grow down to yer butt, and you'd look like Willie Nelson.

I know you live in Redneck Heaven near my Hero, Jack Daniels. Problem is when I hang out with him, he convinces me that 300lb heifer in the club is the prettiest thang in there.

Did you know that NASCAR is the only sport we can watch when Hammered?

“Gonna’ Wake up to the sunshine, smiling from the sweet dreams
