Wow, where does one begin? I guess it all started with the old "8-tracks"!

Boston, Journey, then Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, .38 Special. Wow, How's that for a mixture?! Now, today, some of my favorite writers are: Phil Vassar, Rivers Rutherford, Drew Womack, (too many good ones to list!) I just love GREAT melodies with Great words that match those melodies!

You can catch me at select venues (posted here on myspace) performing a lot of the songs I have written. I also perform occaisonally with my old band "Rivertown" at selected Midwest events, and I am proud to say that I have now released my first solo CD. This project has been a long time coming, and I have worked Very Hard at assembling the 16 songs that are featured on it. Actually 14 songs with (2) bonus Christmas tunes. A couple of them are actually HERE on my myspace page to listen to!. I have had the privledge of opening for many of today's hot new Country Artists the past 15 years and 3 of my songs have been featured nationally on GAC's own Chris Conn's syndicated radio show "The Conn Man Show" for an unprecidented 3 straight weeks!
Through years of networking down in Nashville, I have also had the privelage of being introduced to a lot of Nashville's influential people and hit songwriters. As a member of NSAI and SOWI, I am also helping others build a better understanding of how to make better songs for today's new country music market. In 2007, I had the honor of being named Songwriter Of The Year by Songwriters Of Wisconsin International. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the tunes.

Hey Big Guy!! Just got back from NV and the big CYD finale show and party...fun and AMAZING!!! So cool to hear them do our song "Edge of Goodbye" and to hear the crowds response...gives me chill bumps!!! And Matt was there, too...priceless!! Lifes gettin' crazy in a great way...will actually be spending a LOT of time there now.
Can't wait to hear all about the Texas tour...sounds like fun!! And how cool about our song on clear channel...very cool!!
Don't forget to call the local station and request Steel Magnolia's single "Keep On Lovin' You"...then you'll be in practice for when "Edge of Goodbye" comes out...lol
