"I was born, I survived, I lived and I died...and it's such a vicious cycle for the sheep who have lied; and I'm good for doin' bad, or I'm bad for doin' good, but I couldn't give a fuck, and I wouldn't if I could, cuz' I'd like to meet the fucker who can leave this fuckin' life alive." - Rane Stone
New and fresh, breakout artist Rane Stone is quickly gaining a reputation as the new voice of rock. Rane was born into a naturally musical family being that his father was a Baptist minister for many years. Soul, gospel, and blues were born into his blood and he has been exploring his talents his whole life. Rane began performing as a child; taking a few piano lessons, but has been singing since age four. His first performance was at the funeral of a childhood friend. Later on though he self-taught himself guitar and has written an abundance of instant hits since then.
His real musical adventure began in 1994 with local 80s/90s/new-gen style hard/glam/grunge/metal groups, which he had worked with for the past 14 years. He made various guest appearances for shows and tributes and cultivated a substantial following opening for the likes of Fozzy, Stuck Mojo, Sevendust, Kings X and Second Coming before deciding to strike out on his own.
Rane Stone is not only a musician, but also a poet who pours witty, awakening lyrics into each composition. Rane has not once wavered or lost sight of his personal goals; one of which was to bring music to ordinary people, to challenge and empower people through music, and to let people know that they are not alone in the enigma known as 'life'.

Thanks for the support! I apologize for the impersonal, generic cut-n-paste but I dont have time to type this 123 times. Support stickers will be going on sale Tuesday the 27th for $5. Show me your sticker at the rally and collect your first point toward winning grand prize! (whatever that might be) Quit washin it and ride it! Heroin
i still cant get over how good your music is, i wish i could catch a show, no plans to play buffalo though yet....you should come visit us sometime....please???
I love the music you've suggested in the past few months many of them have become daily listening favorites of mine, amongst the collection of Rane Stone music of course .... Those last two band suggestions, I can totally hear where you come from Soul filled Rock ... Gritty & Southeren a definite common thread between the music. I think I'm going to really enjoy Moses Jones ...
Thanks Rane for being so selfless and shareing, This Summer Is going to be filled with some of the best rock out there. Just Me Lolita
