Sounds Like
My musical productions sound like a mix of the music that's to come for the future.
Kurtis Lambert a.k.a. "Ransack" is a name that a friend gave too him because he thought that he was going to go through other peoples music and only sample music. Ironically the word "Ransack" means, 'To cause a lot of damage while searching' and 'and takes what not is yours' so 'Ransack' is used in the context as a oxymoron legal company name. He wants to producer music that 'hits' with a hard beat and will be remembered with out using any type of sampler, so the only thing that he would be known for ransacking is the foundation of a tracks beat with new artistic music production.
From the age of 5 years old he fell in love with music, especially the 'riddem' section of the bands that would play. From entering music at the tender age of 5 year old and growing up in a Trinidadian influential home. He would enjoy listening to calypso, soca, reggae and dancehall music which had a huge influence on his music production that began 6 years yrs old.
Ransack's musical background stems from the age of twelve where he attended the "Canadian Royal Conservatory of Music ". He studied classical guitar for three years but always had a true love for the Bass guitar that he played in his high school band. He also learned to play the Baritone and Sax in his grade eleven band.
Ransack worked with mainly striving artists in the music industry. And his most recent project includes an inspirational female singer/vocalist who is planning on releasing her debut single in Jan. of 2008 and currently has a compilation CD selling on CD Baby.com as well as itunes.com.
Because of the vast majority of competition out there "Ransack Productions" always welcomes young inspirational singers and musical artists too work and grow with in the music industry. And only wants to work with confident, talented and versatile individuals who want to make an gigantic impact on the music industry.
