MySpace a place for friends

For a band that emerged only a year and a half ago, Ransomville has been creating more of a buzz in parts of the music industry than some of the national acts they've opened for. The band is carving its own path to country music stardom through guitar driven hooks, soulful lyrics, a magnetic stage presence, and insanely loyal fans. Guitarist/songwriter John Rosini and Rob Burgio have proven their song writing ability and reached enormous musical success previously in which they had 3 songs break the top 10 on the top 40 charts, on P1 station WKSE Kiss 98.5. That in turn led to their EP reaching the number one spot on Billboard charts for Independent Artists. When the two met Lead Singer Dan McClurg and began writing together they knew that the chemistry they had was magical. With country music deep in their soul and the desire to bring it to the masses they brought on Bassist Josh Long and drummer Johnny Misso to complete the group. Their music, harmonies, and unique sound quickly caught the attention of award winning song writer/producer Greg Crowe and they have since just finished writing and recording songs in Nashville to be heard on their debut EP. The songs that have drawn the greatest attention however from radio and industry big shots are the songs that the group wrote and produced themselves. Since Ransomville's return from recording and clips being released on the band's Myspace page, the group's career went from 0 to 60 in only a few short weeks. They have locked in their spot and have been the support act for National recording artist's Luke Bryan, James Otto, Jamey Johnson, Crystal Shawanda, Chuck Wicks, Tracy Byrd, and Keith Anderson, Charlie Daniel's Band, and David Allan Coe to name a few. In addition some radio program directors have gotten behind the project and will very soon be spinning the first single to be announced. Ransomville has the stamina and determination for the long haul to country music commercial success and if the strong response thus far has any indication.....it won't be long at all.
